Marmalade Bread

3 c. flour
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg, well beaten
3/4 c. milk
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 c. pecan pieces (optional)
3/4 c. marmalade
Sift flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and cinnamon into large bowl. Beat egg, and add
milk. Pour egg mixture into dry ingredients, and mix well. Add oil and nuts that have
been dusted with 1/4 c. flour and marmalade. Spoon into greased loaf pan, and let
stand for 30 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
Remove and place on a cooling rack.
